We are seeking a professional to manage M&A projects, including acquisitions and divestments, with a comprehensive approach to project coordination (both internal and external). The role typically involves projects of an international scope and supports decision-making at senior management, Investment Committee, and Board of Directors levels.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate M&A projects nationally and internationally, from scouting to execution and completion.
- Oversee the execution of Due Diligence (DD) processes across financial, legal, tax, accounting, and technical aspects.
- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, in line with Mundys long term strategy.
- Drive financial Due Diligence with a focus on accounting, tax, and financial drivers.
- Participate in and challenge legal, commercial, and technical DD analyses.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Finance, Tax, Accounting, Asset Management) throughout project phases.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including investment banks and partners (equity and debt).
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to senior management, shareholders, and committees, summarizing key insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Guide and mentor junior team members on:
- Business plan development and financial modeling for M&A projects.
- Valuation exercise.
- Understanding the tax, accounting, and financing implications of transactions.
- Collaborate with the Legal team on transaction documentation (e.g., SPA, SHA).
- Support the structuring of capital, rating analysis, and assessment of accretion/dilution impacts alongside Finance and Rating teams.
Relevant Experience
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial advisory services, preferably within investment banking or corporate M&A roles. Although preferred, no industry specialization required
- Proven experience in international projects and environments; in-depth knowledge of M&A processes, due diligence, valuation, and negotiation
Key Competences
- Degree in Economics, Finance, or equivalent fields
- Excellent knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of a third language will be considered a plus
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with Bloomberg, FactSet, and Capital IQ
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Results-oriented with a proactive and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Compensation
- Base Salary between 110.000 € and 150.000 € + Bonus;
